Divya is helping refugee youth identify factors related to their safety and well-being by capturing their perspectives through Photovoice. Refugee youth will use photography to document their lived experiences and use focus groups to expand on the meanings behind what they photographed. This project will attempt to identify key barriers refugee youth face in Alabama, but also empowers them as active contributors and leaders in their community.
