2021 Fellows will learn about interprofessional teamwork through a panel discussion with two nonprofits - Unless U and Mitchell's Place. Lindy Cleveland, Executive Director of Unless U, and Sara Nall, Executive Director of Mitchell's Place, will describe their multi-disciplinary staff, how they build processes for collaboration between disciplines to best serve the needs of their clients, challenges within interprofessional team environments, and more.
"Quality Improvement: Applications for our Projects and Ourselves"
2021 Fellows will travel outside of Birmingham to an equine therapy farm to reflect on how to iterate and build evaluation into the ongoing process of their projects. Prior to the session, they will complete a strengths assessment and will discuss the application of that information to QI and their personal development.
