2020 Fellows will participate in a communications workshop with two guests, Linda Gunter and Bob Sheppard, from UAB's Media Relations. They will learn how to speak persuasively about their projects to raise volunteers and financial support, as well as how to tell the mission of their project, their site organization, and ASF.

2020 Fellows will gather to learn strategies to engage in self-care and promote resiliency as future health and human service professionals.
Every year, the public is invited to join Fellows in their work at an event called Fellows Fest. The event showcases the projects through brief pitches where Fellows tell guests not only what projects are addressing but also how supporters can get involved. This year, Fellows Fest will be celebrated through a virtual event. Stay tuned for more details on how you join the celebration! It will take place on a date (TBA) in September.

2020 Fellows will gather for a potluck dinner to celebrate the holidays together, while also joining with Fellows and Fellows for Life from around the country through the live FFL Webinar series.
Each year, Fellows and Fellows for Life (FFL) around the national Schweitzer Fellowship network gather to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Dr. Albert Schweitzer's birthdays in the month of January. Fellows will select a group service project as a way to work collectively on a Fellow's project aims or another community initiative.
