Li’an and Bre are working to improve physical activity education for underinsured adults with limited resources and health literacy. To support this effort, they are developing exercise handouts that feature infographics and movement demonstrations. Using Live HealthSmart Alabama’s mobile clinics, they will assess needs through surveys, distribute handouts, and tailor content based on participant feedback. Post-surveys will help them evaluate the effectiveness of materials and their impact on behavior. Through ongoing interactions and follow-ups, they will offer continued support, helping participants set goals and track their progress. Additionally, they will educate medical providers on how to incorporate the handouts into clinical care and foster community engagement. Ultimately, their project will promote wellness and serve as a launchpad for broader health initiatives.
