Nar’Kiyah and Jillian are primarily addressing substance misuse on Auburn University’s campus through prevention-based outreach aimed at reducing substance misuse risk through education, engagement, and safe medication practices. Their project also promotes safe storage and disposal of prescription medications in households across Alabama counties. Project activities include participation in drug-take back events, awareness campaigns, and distribution of educational materials focused on substance use prevention, treatment resources, and safe medication practices. Their overall goal is to increase awareness, reduce misuse risk, and strengthen the community.
