Kimberly Eaton is a strategic communications professional with expertise in nonprofit leadership, media relations, engagement, and program development. She began her career as a newspaper reporter before moving into higher education, where she gained broad experience in media relations, communications, events, and student engagement.

Kimberly is also the co-founder and president of Angel’s Hope, a nonprofit supporting families impacted by pediatric cancer. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and her master’s in Interactive Technology from the University of Alabama, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Behavior at UAB’s School of Public Health. Her research centers on the mental health of families experiencing child loss, with a focus on self-care and journaling interventions for bereaved mothers.

An Albert Schweitzer Fellow for Life (Class of 2022-23), Kimberly brings both professional expertise and personal passion to her work. Outside of her professional and academic roles, she enjoys traveling, reading, music, and exploring new places with her 9-year-old daughter.

 Tiffany Adams is a Birmingham native with a background in fundraising and communications. After starting in corporate communications and public relations, she moved into higher education in roles related to fund development, donor relations, volunteer engagement, and editorial content creation. Returning home with her young children, she re‑joined the Birmingham nonprofit community as part of ASF to help individuals and organizations passionate about eliminating health disparities in Alabama achieve their philanthropic goals. She holds a bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Alabama and a master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from UAB.
