Abby designed and implemented a community-based breastfeeding education program for low-income English- and Spanish-speaking women. Drawing on her OB background and incorporating ongoing feedback from both her site and participants, she expanded the curriculum to include additional topics such as pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care. While her initial goal was to engage 15 participants, she exceeded expectations by reaching 18.
