Dan and Britney are helping middle school-aged students develop a strong sense of cultural competence through an “international passport” project. They will host engaging sessions for students to explore various aspects of cultures around the world, including dance performances, language classes, and food-making demonstrations with hopes of hosting their own International Fair Day with the kids at the end of the project. Ultimately, the program aims to not only assist students in improving their understanding of community belonging and identity, but also to equip participants with the ability to advocate for individuals from all backgrounds.
