Julie worked with the Changed Lives Mobile Clinic (CLMC) to decrease health disparities by targeting social determinants of health in urban and low-income populations. She developed educational materials for CLMC volunteers to utilize while implementing patient care to improve patient satisfaction, increase the efficiency of care, and decrease patient wait times. She also developed a mobile laboratory to decrease patient wait times. Each intervention will assist in decreasing the portion of the population who cannot receive medical care when they need it and increase the ability of CLMC to provide high-quality care.
