Q: What are you currently working on professionally, academically, or in your community?

A: Recovery and treatment programs data analytics and reporting

Q: What accomplishment, milestone, or update would you like to share with the ASF Alabama network?

A: My family just celebrated my son’s first birthday in April!

Q: How did your ASF project help shape your career path or academic focus?

A: It helped solidify my interest in pursing allied health research as a career.

Q: How did your Fellowship experience influence how you approach leadership, service, or community engagement?

A: Since I work so much with data, I think the biggest lesson I took from ASF is that data is only useful if it is actually used. In other words, it needs to be meaningful and relevant to the community you are working with. Otherwise, it’s pointless.

Q: What advice would you give to current or future Schweitzer Fellows?

A: Take your careers one step at a time. There’s no rush!
