The Alabama Schweitzer Fellowship (ASF) is seeking a Program Coordinator to coordinate its 15-month leadership program for graduate and professional students in health-related fields. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role guides Fellows through recruitment, selection, project design, implementation, and evaluation. ASF engages students in community-centered service projects that build empathy, leadership, and a lifelong commitment to health equity.
The Program Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison between Fellows, community partners, and academic institutions. Key responsibilities include mentoring Fellows, overseeing project progress, leading recruitment efforts, helping build new academic partnerships (including HBCUs and rural-serving institutions), and strengthening alumni engagement. The role also involves program administration, event coordination, and supporting evaluation and reporting.
